Marcel Koller, Al Ahly head coach, discussed how the team was able to achieve an important victory before heading to the Cairo derby next Saturday. 

The Red Eagles booked their place in the Egyptian Cup final with an incredible 3-1 win over Smouha SC on Tuesday night.

"The team gave a spectacular first half, and they applied all the tactics we have been training on before the match. They pressed on the opponent and had the upper hand during the first half. I'm so proud of the team's performance." Koller stated.

Our head coach then praised Mahmoud Kahraba's wonderful performance during the first half, for scoring a goal and assisting his teammates Ahmed Abdelkader and Hamdy Fathy with their goals today.

“I want to praise the new players Mohamed Dhaoui Cristo, Khaled Abdelfattah and Marwan Attia. They put on a very good performance for their first match with the team. It was a wonderful start for them.” Koller stated.
